Crude Aluminum Casting Experiment (success)

Me trying a crude casting experiment with some left over 6061 aluminum.

It takes 2:56 for it to start melting, using a $20 MAPP gas torch.

Incase your wondering, that’s water I’m pouring on it to cool it off.
