“IRON MAN” Is Casting Genius

It’s my judgment that people don’t pay nearly enough respect to the casting process as a key determiner of a theatrical production’s likely success.
But they should. “Iron Man” is a success, to a huge degree, because of its outstanding casting choices.
Everyone in this film is simply amazing, and they had the chance to be their very best because Jon Favreau is relentlessly thorough and obsessively honest.

What do you get when you cross an all-star, Oscar nominated cast with a few tonnes of hulking metal? You get IRON MAN! With some serious pressure to be a blockbuster, Marvel has all the makings of a winner as their first at bat as a production company. Matt’s more excited about this one than he has been about a movie in a while, and Nat can’t wait to see her some Robert Downey Jr. So really, everyone’s a winner on this one.
