If you are talking about investing a lost wax, then for small items, pouring investment in a sleeve around the model. These days, for larger items silica flour and dipping in slurry is easier. http://www.modernsculpture.com/bronze.htm and http://users.ticnet.com/mikefirth/castgobl.htm
If you are talking about making the model or something else, you have to be more specific.
