What kind of equipment do you need to cast your own brass shells?

Look, I already know that there is no brass making equipment that is meant for hand loaders. But how much would the cheapest industrial grade equipment cost?

Lots….just visit a plant or do some research on the net.

    You wouldn’t be casting. you’d be buying brass stock and using a series of press type machines to draw the cases from a disk punched out of your flat stock. I’d figure on a few hundred thousand dollars just for the machines and one set of dies to draw the cases.

    And just think of what your electric bill would be like with that sort of hardware set up in your garage, or the new pole building you’d have to put up to house it.
