Me and my friend made a video showing you how to make brass, which is copper + zinc, not copper + tin. Anyway, after we make brass, we show you how to cast it, and of course casting it into any symbol you want!

wonderful video !!!! I liked it very much, it is just awsome ! I am trying to make a hommade foundry to create brass sculptures, for that this will help me. Keep the good job continued instead of the stupid things young kids do and waste their time. I apriciate your work.

As another commentor said its good to see youngsters doing something like this and not just sitting on the ps3 ect,but beleive the safety comments a mate of mine lost his sight in an aliminium casting accident,its no joke to lose your sight is it?
Get some proper safety gear asap,and dont lean over the furnace for any reason.

I’ve worked in the …
I’ve worked in the foundry for 30 years, I never heard music like this though. Making something like this we would use greensand and it would be quite boring, never heard music like this though. Through ten’s of thousands of moulds I’ve made and poured throughout those thirty years, I’ve never poured ONE without a faceshield and sleeves. If you want to end up looking like Nikki Lauda, keep up the bad work, still, never heard music like that though!

sweet vid man. thinking about casting a pair of brass knucks but all i have is a blowtorch. I dont know where to get a crucible. Will a blow torch work for casting brass?

Huh anyone ever try useing brass or any other metal too use in a .223 since lead cannot be used at thos temps that you get with a .223? if so please reply I would Love too know how too cast good .223 rounds.
