aluminium stamping advantages over aluminium die-casting
the price and leadtime of the tooling. stamping is usually 5 to 6 times lower than die-casting. the unit price of a stamped part is usually lower also

The material to be stamped is usually of known value and characteristics for the desired product. The base piece is heated and then stamped into a desired form, there are few, if any, irregularities in the material while in die casting, the metal is molten and can have irregularities in it.
